superbead and TLA Product Sets Achieve CCPI Conformity
energystore CCPI conformity
The CCPI sets a high bar for the industry, and we are proud to be part of the movement towards better standards and greater trust in construction product information: energystore MD, Connor McCandless.
We’re delighted to announce that energystore’s Superbead and TLA product sets have successfully achieved CCPI Assessed status—an important milestone that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing construction product information that is clear, accurate, accessible and up to date.
At energystore, we’re proud to stand alongside many leading construction product manufacturers who are working to raise standards across the industry. The Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) plays a vital role in driving improvements in the way product information is managed and communicated, helping to build trust and encourage positive culture change. We’re pleased to be working proactively with the CCPI to support this mission.
Established in the wake of the Grenfell tragedy, the CCPI operates as an independent body and undertakes a rigorous assessment of product information and marketing practices across eleven clauses. Its assessment covers the accuracy of product claims as well as the culture, leadership and processes within organisations. Achieving CCPI Assessed status for our Superbead and TLA product sets reinforces energystore’s long-standing commitment to higher standards.
Founded on a mission to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in the built environment, energystore is a leading provider of insulation solutions for walls, floors and roofs. We are also the leading supplier of high‑performance EPS (expanded polystyrene) bead insulation products to the UK and Irish construction industry.
Among our flagship products are:
superbead – a high‑performance cavity wall bead insulation system designed for excellent thermal efficiency and moisture resistance.
TLA (Thermal Lightweight Aggregate) – a unique floor insulation solution that combines strong thermal performance with ease of installation and environmental benefits.
Both products are engineered to meet rigorous standards and reflect our dedication to delivering safe, reliable and effective insulation solutions.
Commenting on the achievement, Connor McCandless, Managing Director at energystore, said:
