Wall Insulation
Unlike other commonly used cavity fill systems the polystyrene
bead concept is not a fibre type which is rather like the mineral
wool you have in your roofspace. The fibre is not formed in
matting, as is the case in most roofspaces but is blown into the
wall in small pieces to a predetermined density.

 Our beads arrive at your home already manufactured to the density
required by the Agrement Board and they are simply blown into the
wall from the truck and sprayed with an adhesive so that they form
a bonded mass. In the case of fibre(mineral wool) the required
density is achieved on site at the point of installation.
Bonded beads have a consistent density and cannot shrink or settle. Thats why you can sit on a beanbag without compacting the contents.
One could not imagine a void or space within the beanbag and in
the same way such voids cannot occur in a bead filled cavity. |
